I am a municipal elected official with a passion for building my community and empowering the people around me to do the same. With extensive experience volunteering with a number of NGOs, I am firmly rooted in community based initiatives. Self described career volunteer, I spend my “spare” time in the garden and with my family, two young boys (5 and 3), amazingly supportive husband, one pleasantly plump cat, and a highly energetic dog. In terms of writing experience, I have kept a journal since the 5th grade. I have always enjoyed writing and would dream of writing a book one day. In my adult life, I have contributed to local papers, magazines, write blogs and bios for clients, and general copy work. I consume non-fiction books like cake and never realized that I could be the one to write these books and help good people spread their empowering messages. The realization has lit a spark in me and I am looking forward learning how to be a ghostwriter to help pry the books out of peoples heads and place them on a shelf for everyone to benefit from.
